Find Zelle and Mobile Deposit After a First Horizon Login

Start a First Horizon login at firsthorizon.com, select Log in, and choose the personal or Small Business profile connected to the account. This independent guide is not affiliated with First Horizon Bank and cannot access, recover, or modify customer accounts.

Check whether Digital Banking opens before troubleshooting Zelle or Mobile Deposit. A missing payment or deposit option after entry is usually a different problem from a rejected User ID or password.

What First Horizon is

First Horizon Bank is a U.S. financial institution offering personal, Small Business, commercial, mortgage, trust, and wealth services. Its personal login page provides access to banking and investment-service options and identifies eligible banking products as FDIC-insured.

The broad search “First Horizon” often hides a more specific task:

  • Enter Personal Digital Banking
  • Recover an existing User ID
  • Enroll with Zelle
  • Deposit a check through the mobile app
  • Find a feature that does not appear after login
  • Report an unauthorized Zelle transaction

Those tasks do not share one solution.

Separate login failure from a missing feature

The First Horizon personal login page contains a service selector followed by User ID, Password, Login, Enroll for access, and Forgot ID or password. Corporate customers have a separate login page with its own service selector and required-field messages.

Use the last successful screen as a guide:

What happensMore relevant action
The established profile is rejected before entryUse Digital Banking recovery
No Digital Banking profile was ever createdChoose enrollment
The dashboard opens, but Zelle is missingConfirm the personal profile and Zelle enrollment
The app opens, but Deposit is absentCheck Mobile Deposit eligibility
A verification code is requestedComplete the bank’s verification step
A Zelle payment was unauthorizedUse the fraud-reporting route
A Zelle payment you initiated was processed incorrectlyUse the transaction-dispute route

Do this first: confirm whether the dashboard opens. Skip password recovery when the profile already entered Digital Banking successfully.

A working dashboard shows that the primary authentication stage completed. It does not guarantee that every feature is enrolled, eligible, or available under that account.

Enroll with Zelle inside Personal Digital Banking

First Horizon says Zelle is already available within its Personal Digital and Mobile Banking services. To begin, customers sign in to their personal profile, select Send Money with Zelle, and choose Get Started to review and accept the Zelle terms.

First Horizon also publishes this enrollment sequence:

  1. Log in to Digital Banking.
  2. Open the payment or money-transfer area.
  3. Select Get Started.
  4. Review and accept the applicable terms.
  5. Choose the account.
  6. Review the contact information.
  7. Select a U.S. mobile number or email address for verification.
  8. Enter the code sent to that contact method.
  9. Complete enrollment.

This is feature enrollment after login. It is not another Digital Banking registration.

Priority one: open the personal Digital Banking dashboard. Skip creating a second banking profile when the real task is enrolling the existing profile with Zelle.

First Horizon’s current instructions place Send Money with Zelle on the personal dashboard. A customer using a corporate, investment, mortgage, or unrelated service should not assume the same control will appear there.

Why Zelle may request a verification code

First Horizon’s Zelle FAQ says customers choose an email address or U.S. mobile number from their Digital Banking profile during enrollment. When that contact method has not already been verified through Digital or Mobile Banking, the customer must receive and enter a one-time verification code.

That code request does not necessarily mean the User ID or password failed.

It means First Horizon needs to verify the selected contact point before associating it with Zelle.

Check these items:

  • Is the displayed phone number or email current?
  • Can the customer access that contact method?
  • Was the code requested during an action the customer initiated?
  • Is the personal Digital Banking profile open?
  • Has that email or mobile number already been enrolled elsewhere with Zelle?

Do not repeatedly restart enrollment before checking the contact information shown by the bank. Several overlapping code attempts can make it difficult to identify which session remains current.

An unexpected code arriving when the customer did not attempt login, profile verification, or Zelle enrollment should be treated as a security concern rather than an ordinary setup step.

Mobile Deposit appears only for eligible customers

First Horizon describes Mobile Deposit as available to eligible customers using its Mobile Banking service. The bank says the deposit option will appear after login when the customer is eligible.

That creates an important distinction:

  • The app rejects the Digital Banking profile.
  • The app accepts the profile, but no deposit option appears.

Use recovery or mobile-access troubleshooting for the first problem. For the second, check eligibility rather than changing the password.

First Horizon’s published Mobile Deposit process is:

  1. Log in to Mobile Banking.
  2. Select the deposit option.
  3. Photograph the front and back of the check.
  4. Enter the deposit amount.
  5. Choose the receiving account.
  6. Review the entered information.
  7. Submit the deposit.

The bank’s current demonstration uses Mobile Deposit in the lower menu, followed by Deposit a Check. It says customers receive confirmation that the check was received and that check images are not stored on the device.

Do the eligibility check first. Skip reinstalling the app merely because the Deposit control is absent.

A received confirmation is not the same as final availability

First Horizon’s Mobile Deposit demonstration says the customer receives immediate confirmation that the bank received the check.

Read that wording carefully.

A receipt confirmation indicates that the mobile submission reached the bank. It should not automatically be interpreted as a guarantee that the full deposit is immediately available for withdrawal or that the check has completed every review step.

Customers should review the deposit status and account activity inside Digital Banking before relying on the funds or attempting the same deposit again.

Do not submit a second image of the same check merely because the account balance has not changed immediately. Duplicate deposit attempts can create a separate problem.

Priority two: confirm the existing submission. Skip redepositing the check until its status is clear.

Compare the website and mobile app

First Horizon’s Digital and Mobile Banking service includes account access, bill payment, transfers, statements, alerts, Zelle, and Mobile Deposit.

The current mobile application is offered to personal and Small Business customers. Its listed functions include depositing checks, viewing balances, paying bills, transferring funds, managing budgets, tracking spending, and setting alerts.

Use the two channels diagnostically:

  • Website and app both reject the profile: use Digital Banking recovery.
  • Website works but the app rejects the profile: focus on the app or device session.
  • Personal Digital Banking opens, but Zelle is absent: verify the personal service and enrollment route.
  • The app opens, but Mobile Deposit is absent: check eligibility.
  • Mobile Deposit appears for one account but not another: review the eligible receiving accounts.
  • Personal tools appear, but a corporate feature does not: use the assigned corporate service.

Do not change every setting at once. First confirm whether the problem follows the profile, the app, the account, or the individual feature.

Zelle and Mobile Deposit are different services

Both features appear within First Horizon’s digital ecosystem, but they perform different jobs.

Zelle is used to send, request, or receive money through an eligible enrolled bank account and a verified email address or U.S. mobile number.

Mobile Deposit is used to submit images of an eligible paper check through the First Horizon mobile app. It requires Mobile Banking enrollment and customer eligibility for the deposit service.

A problem with one does not establish a failure in the other.

For example:

  • Zelle requests contact verification, while Mobile Deposit still works.
  • Mobile Deposit is unavailable, while the customer can still use Zelle.
  • The app login works, but the selected account is not eligible for one feature.
  • Digital Banking recovery restores entry but does not automatically enroll Zelle.

Describe the exact feature when contacting support. “Zelle enrollment stops at contact verification” is much more useful than “First Horizon login is broken.”

Report Zelle problems through the correct form

First Horizon separates two categories of Zelle issues.

Its Zelle issue-reporting page provides one route for a transaction the customer did not initiate or authorize another person to initiate. It provides another route for an error involving a Zelle transaction the customer did initiate.

The distinction matters:

  • Unauthorized transaction: the customer says the transfer was not authorized.
  • Transaction dispute or processing error: the customer initiated the transfer but believes it was handled incorrectly.

Do not describe an authorized payment mistake as account takeover if that is not what occurred. Give the bank an accurate account of who initiated the payment and what went wrong.

For an unfamiliar transfer, stop ordinary login troubleshooting and use First Horizon’s established reporting route promptly.

Do not follow a support link supplied only in an unexpected text or email. Open First Horizon through its main website and navigate from there.

Check the recipient before sending money

First Horizon’s Zelle information presents the service as a way to send money to people the customer knows and trusts.

Before approving a transfer, verify the recipient information displayed in Digital Banking. An incorrect email address or mobile number can direct the payment toward the wrong enrolled recipient.

Review:

  • Recipient name
  • Email address or U.S. mobile number
  • Sending account
  • Payment amount
  • Message or purpose
  • Whether the person is known and expected

Do not use Zelle to test an unfamiliar seller or respond to pressure from someone claiming that verification requires sending money.

A successful First Horizon login confirms access to the banking profile. It does not confirm that a recipient request is legitimate.

Why a First Horizon form may ask for another login

Some First Horizon customer-service requests open a page headed Before you continue.

That page asks for a Digital Banking username and password. Customers without Digital Banking credentials are directed to visit a branch or call 800-382-5465. Empty submissions can display Please enter a value for Username and Please enter a value for Password.

This is an authentication checkpoint for the selected customer request, not necessarily another account.

Use the existing Digital Banking profile. Skip credentials from a mortgage, corporate, trust, or unrelated investment service unless the page specifically identifies that system.

A missing-field message on this screen does not prove that First Horizon rejected completed credentials. It means the named entry remains incomplete.

Use support according to the failed step

First Horizon’s support hub provides FAQs, online assistance, and customer-service request routes.

Use the path that matches the problem:

  • Existing User ID or password rejected: Digital Banking recovery
  • No Digital Banking profile exists: enrollment
  • Zelle is absent after personal login: Zelle enrollment help
  • Verification code cannot be received: profile or contact-method support
  • Mobile Deposit option is absent: eligibility assistance
  • Submitted deposit status is unclear: account-specific support
  • Unauthorized Zelle transfer: fraud-reporting form
  • Customer-initiated Zelle processing error: transaction-dispute form

When contacting support, state the account category, website or app, exact feature, last completed step, and any visible message.

Keep credentials and verification codes out of ordinary support messages.

FDIC coverage and third-party services

First Horizon identifies its banking products and services as provided by First Horizon Bank, Member FDIC.

Zelle is a payment service available within eligible First Horizon Personal Digital and Mobile Banking profiles. Mobile Deposit is a banking feature for eligible customers. The availability of a digital tool does not change the need to review the terms, disclosures, and eligibility conditions attached to the underlying account.

Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation coverage applies to eligible deposits according to applicable ownership categories and limits. It does not mean every payment can be reversed or that every check submitted through a mobile device will be accepted.

Read the service terms before acting.

Frequently asked questions

Where is Zelle after a First Horizon login?

First Horizon directs personal customers to select Send Money with Zelle from the Digital Banking dashboard, then choose Get Started.

Do I need another First Horizon account for Zelle?

No. Zelle enrollment occurs inside an eligible existing Personal Digital or Mobile Banking profile.

Why does Zelle ask for a code?

First Horizon may require a one-time code when the selected email address or U.S. mobile number has not already been verified through Digital or Mobile Banking.

Why is Mobile Deposit missing?

First Horizon says the option appears after mobile login for eligible customers. Its absence can therefore indicate an eligibility or service-availability issue rather than a failed password.

How do I deposit a check?

Open Mobile Banking, choose Mobile Deposit, select Deposit a Check, choose the account, enter the amount, photograph both sides, review, and submit.

Does deposit confirmation mean the money is immediately available?

The published demonstration says the confirmation shows that First Horizon received the check. Customers should review the deposit and account status rather than assuming that receipt confirmation guarantees immediate availability.

How do I report an unauthorized Zelle payment?

Use First Horizon’s Zelle fraud or unauthorized-transaction form. The bank provides a separate dispute route when the customer initiated the payment but reports a processing error.

Can Small Business customers use the First Horizon mobile app?

Yes. The current app listing says it is available to both personal and Small Business customers, though individual feature eligibility and access may vary.
