Start a First Horizon login at firsthorizon.com, select Log in, and choose the banking service connected to your account. This independent guide is not affiliated with First Horizon Bank and cannot access or modify customer profiles.
A customer who can enter Digital Banking but cannot locate a statement or alert setting usually has a post-login navigation problem, not a failed password. Check whether the account dashboard opens first. Skip recovery when authentication has already succeeded.
What First Horizon is
First Horizon Bank is a U.S. financial institution serving personal, small-business, commercial, mortgage, trust, and wealth clients. Its website states that banking products and services are provided by First Horizon Bank, Member FDIC and Equal Housing Lender.
The keyword “First Horizon” commonly leads to Digital Banking, enrollment, account recovery, statements, alerts, or customer support.
Those jobs split quickly.
Confirm that the login itself failed
The First Horizon personal login page contains a service selector followed by User ID, Password, Login, Enroll for access, and Forgot ID or password.
Use the result of that screen to choose the next step:
| What happens | More relevant action |
|---|---|
| The login form does not accept an established profile | Use account recovery |
| You never created Digital Banking access | Choose enrollment |
| The dashboard opens but no statement is visible | Open Accounts/Statements |
| The dashboard opens but alerts need changing | Open Messages & Alerts |
| A statement request asks for another login | Use the protected customer form |
| Personal access works but business access does not | Open the Small Business route |
Do this first: determine whether the dashboard opens. Skip changing the password when the real task begins after login.
A functioning account overview shows that the main authentication stage was completed. It does not mean every statement, alert, business account, or specialized First Horizon product will appear on the first screen.
Enroll or recover the existing profile
First Horizon separates first-time Digital Banking enrollment from recovery of an established User ID.
The enrollment page says the process is completed in about five minutes. It lists a debit or ATM card, an account number, and an email address among the items customers should have available.
Choose enrollment when no Digital Banking profile has been created for the eligible banking relationship.
Choose Forgot ID or password when the customer previously used Digital Banking but can no longer enter the established profile. The bank’s login page presents both options beneath the credential fields.
Two mistakes are common:
- An existing Digital Banking user begins another enrollment after forgetting the User ID.
- A bank customer attempts recovery even though online access was never established.
Enrollment adds digital access. It does not replace opening or maintaining the underlying account.
Priority one: establish whether the User ID existed before. Skip duplicate enrollment when the existing profile needs recovery.
Find Statements Online after login
First Horizon provides a specific route for electronic statements.
Its Statements Online instructions say to log in to Digital Banking, select the Accounts/Statements tab, choose the account or accounts to enroll, and follow the displayed directions.
This route helps diagnose the problem:
- Accounts/Statements opens and the account appears: login is working.
- The account appears but is not enrolled for Statements Online: complete statement enrollment.
- The expected account is absent: confirm the personal or business profile.
- A recent statement is unavailable: check when online-statement enrollment began.
- The account belongs to another First Horizon service: open that assigned service.
Check the account list first. Skip password recovery when the customer is already inside Digital Banking and only needs statement access.
First Horizon’s General Banking FAQs say customers enrolled in Monthly Statements Online can log in and print statements issued since enrollment. Customers needing another copy can use the bank’s statement-request route, visit a branch, or call customer service.
That timing caveat matters. Online enrollment does not necessarily create a complete archive for periods before the service was activated.
Why a statement request asks for another login
First Horizon’s Request Copy of a Statement page is a protected customer-service form.
The page says customers must continue by signing in with their Digital Banking username and password. It displays Username, Password, Show, Please enter a value for Username, and Please enter a value for Password. Customers without Digital Banking credentials are directed to a branch or 800-382-5465.
This can look like a second unrelated account because authentication appears after the customer has already chosen a statement request.
It is a checkpoint for the protected form.
Use the existing Digital Banking profile there. Skip mortgage, corporate, investment, or other credentials unless the page specifically names that service.
A required-field message does not prove that First Horizon rejected a completed profile. Please enter a value for Username means that the username field remains incomplete. The password message has the same narrow purpose.
Read the message. Then act.
Manage First Horizon account alerts
First Horizon gives current Digital Banking customers a documented alert-management route:
- Log in to Digital or Mobile Banking.
- Select Messages & Alerts.
- Choose Alerts from the submenu.
The same page directs customers who want Statements Online to select Accounts/Statements and choose the relevant accounts.
These are post-login settings. They should not be confused with account recovery.
A customer can enter successfully and still need to:
- Enable an alert
- Change an existing alert
- Review which account generates notifications
- Enroll an account for online statements
- Check whether the setting exists in Digital or Mobile Banking
Do the settings check first. Skip resetting Digital Banking credentials merely because an expected notification did not arrive.
Feature availability can vary by account, service, and region.
Website and Mobile Banking use the existing profile
First Horizon says current Digital Banking customers are automatically enrolled for Mobile Banking and should use their existing credentials. Customers can use the downloadable application or a mobile web browser.
The First Horizon Mobile Banking app is listed for personal and Small Business customers. Published functions include viewing balances, depositing checks, paying bills, transferring funds, creating budgets, tracking spending, and setting alerts.
Compare the two channels:
- Website and app both reject the profile: use recovery.
- Website works but the app fails: inspect the app or stored mobile session.
- App works but the website fails: reopen First Horizon from its main domain.
- Statements appear online but not in the app: compare the selected account and menu.
- Alerts work on one channel but not another: review the authenticated alert settings.
- Personal accounts appear but business accounts do not: open the Small Business service.
Do not reinstall first. Confirm whether the same profile works through another First Horizon channel, then isolate the failing environment.
The Small Business login page is a distinct route for Digital Banking and business reporting services.
Send account-specific questions securely
Customers who can still sign in have a bank-provided support route for account-specific questions.
First Horizon instructs enrolled customers to select the Messages icon, open the Secure Messages tab, and choose Send Us a Secure Message.
Use secure messaging for questions such as:
- A statement is missing after enrollment.
- An account does not appear under the expected profile.
- An alert is attached to the wrong eligible account.
- A protected customer-service request will not continue.
- The website and app display different account information.
The public questions form accepts a subject and text message, but it says attachments will not be received. First Horizon publishes 800-382-5465 on that page for customers who need another contact route.
Keep authentication information out of ordinary messages.
When reporting a problem, name the exact path: Accounts/Statements, Messages & Alerts, Secure Messages, or Request Copy of a Statement. Specific wording helps the bank distinguish access trouble from a missing post-login feature.
Treat unusual activity as a security issue
A missing statement or alert setting is a navigation or service question. Unfamiliar account activity is different.
First Horizon tells customers with confirmed fraud or suspicious account activity to contact Client Services at 800-382-5465 or visit a local branch. It also says lost or stolen cards or checks should be reported immediately and notes that customers can turn a card off through Digital Banking to help limit unauthorized use.
Stop normal troubleshooting when activity appears that you did not initiate.
Do not approve an unfamiliar action or follow a banking link contained only in an unexpected message. Return through First Horizon’s main website or another established bank contact.
Security takes priority. Skip statement-navigation experiments while suspicious account activity is being reviewed.
Choose the support route by task
First Horizon’s support hub provides FAQs, customer-service requests, contact options, and other banking assistance.
Use the channel that matches the problem:
- Cannot enter an established profile: Forgot ID or password
- Never created Digital Banking: Enroll for access
- Need an electronic statement: Accounts/Statements
- Need a historical copy: statement-request route, branch, or customer service
- Need to manage notifications: Messages & Alerts > Alerts
- Account-specific question while signed in: Secure Messages
- Suspicious activity: established fraud or customer-service route
First Horizon’s contact page publishes 800-382-5465 and provides a branch and ATM locator.
Do not describe every problem as “login not working.” State the last successful screen and the exact action that failed.
“Digital Banking opens, but the account is absent from Accounts/Statements” is actionable. “First Horizon is broken” is not.
FDIC status depends on the product
First Horizon identifies its banking products and services as provided by First Horizon Bank, Member FDIC.
The bank’s login area can also lead to trust, investment, annuity, insurance, and wealth-related services. Those products may carry different protections and disclosures.
Read the selected product name.
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation coverage applies to eligible deposits according to applicable limits and ownership categories. Shared First Horizon branding does not make every linked financial service an insured deposit.
